Paleis van Fotografische Sculpturen
'Paleis van Fotografische Sculpturen' (Palace of Photographic Sculptures) by photographer and artist Koen Hauser is a total installation of two-dimensional photographic images, in which sculpture and photography influence each other and blend seamlessly. The exhibition features several of Hauser's projects. In these, he plays with the dimensions of photography and sculpture by using digital techniques, such as AI, 3D rendering, and Photoshop.

Paleis van Fotografische Sculpturen
'Paleis van Fotografische Sculpturen' features works from his 'Skulptura' series and new photographs from the 'Michelangelo Iconoclastia' project. For 'Michelangelo Iconoclastia,' Hauser visually reinterpreted an old tourist guide about the work of sculptor Michelangelo. In 'Skulptura,' he explores the cross-pollination between photography, fashion, and sculpture. For this project, for example, he created 3D renderings of the fashion designs of Vivienne Westwood and Viktor & Rolf.
Both projects grew out of Hauser's fascination with vintage photographs of sculpture, and demonstrate his ability to reshape historical images. This allows museum visitors to experience a fascinating interplay between looking, seeing, and recognizing. With 'Paleis van Fotografische Sculpturen', Hauser creates a style room in which nothing is what it seems
